  1. I too grew up with saying grace but it wasn’t a habit of my husband’s family. I wish I’d thought of a pre-meal “settling” habit that would’ve suited us and made us ready to enjoy not only the meal but the company and the ritual of coming together.
On the other hand, one of my sons says that we are the only family he knows of who routinely eats together.

  2. Your latest post really resonated with me. I completely understand where you’re coming from. I feel guilty if I’m sitting on the couch because I feel like I should be doing something. But, when you finally settle – it feels wonderful.

  3. WOW! What a beautiful way to put it in words… The feeling of having accomplished something and getting to a “rest” in life… the feeling of ” and now?? what is next? where Am I going?” Your last post it is a reminder of how every day could be a new and totally exciting adventure if we want to see it that way… Life keeps moving, like the wind… and we decide if we want to move with it or stop there… I can’t believe how inspiring your words are! 🙂
